The first Borderlands 4 gameplay is due to be revealed at The Game Awards on December 12.

Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford said a new trailer will include the first Borderlands 4 gameplay, “in addition to a lot of in-game footage”.

The studio will also release an original cinematic sequence “depicting a moment that occurs about half way between the end of Borderlands 3 and the beginning of Borderlands 4”.

Announced in August, Borderlands 4 is coming to PC and console in 2025.
