Astro Bot and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth lead The Game Awards 2024 nominations
The nominees were announced on Monday by event host and producer Geoff Keighley, and were chosen by a voting jury, which includes publications such as this website, VGC.
There are 29 awards up for grabs in total (see the full list of nominees below), with the winners set to be determined by a blended vote between the voting jury (90%) and public fan voting (10%).
The Game Awards will be streamed live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 12, starting at 4.30pm PT / 7.30pm ET (December 13 at 12:30am GMT).

Baldur’s Gate 3 was the biggest winner at The Game Awards 2023, taking home six of the eight prizes it was nominated for.
Larian’s RPG took the coveted Game of the Year award as well as prizes for Best Performance, Best Community Support, Best RPG, Best Multiplayer and Player’s Voice.
Alan Wake 2, which was also nominated for eight prizes, won three awards in the form of Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction and Best Narrative.
